1. About Study Buddy JA

Study Buddy JA is a homework help and tutoring service for Jamaican primary school students in Grades 1–6. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for how children use the service.

2. Free questions

New parents receive 5 free questions with no payment details required. Once those are used, a paid plan is needed to continue.

3. Plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly in Jamaican Dollars: Individual (J$1,500, 1 child), Family (J$3,000, 2 children) and Premium Family (J$4,500, 3 or more children). Access begins once payment is confirmed by our payment provider. Subscriptions do not renew automatically; you choose when to renew.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card details. If a payment is taken but your plan does not activate, contact us on WhatsApp 876-833-6152 and we will resolve it.

5. Refunds

If a duplicate or incorrect charge occurs, contact us within 14 days and we will review and refund where appropriate. Unused portions of a month are not normally refundable.

6. Acceptable use

Study Buddy JA is a learning aid, not a replacement for schoolwork or exams. Accounts may not be shared beyond the children on your plan, and device limits apply per plan. We may suspend accounts used abusively or fraudulently.

7. Children's safety

Content is written for primary school children and moderated for age-appropriateness. Parents should supervise use and can review activity in the parent dashboard.

Study Buddy JA is designed for educational and homework support. Children should not use Study Buddy to share private information or seek personal, medical, emergency or harmful advice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the version number changes and you will be asked to accept the new version at your next checkout.
